myPHPscripts Download Manager is a GUI for administering website downloads.
It features a public download section and simple administration panel.

Simply upload your files to a dedicated directory, and the download
manager does the rest. Files are listed in a table with download links,
file sizes, and descriptions. The administration panel allows you to
customize descriptions or delete files.

// Installation Instructions //

1. Edit the variables in the inc/db_variables.inc.php file.

2. Create the database you defined in the inc/db_variables.inc.php file.

3. Upload the contents of the DLMan folder in the directory you want to
run the script from. Retain all file and folder locations.

4. Run the install.php script in the install/ directory.

5. Upload your public files to the download directory you defined in the
inc/db_variables.inc.php file. These are the files that will be made
available for download.

6. Visit the URL to your public download area. This should be the URL
of your download manager. Your database will auto-populate with the
files you uploaded to the download directory. For example, if you
installed the download manager to your /public_html/DLMAN/ directory,
you would visit http://www.yourdomain.com/DLMan/.

7. Click the Admin link in the lower right hand corner of the download
page.

8. Create your administration account.

9. Log in to the administration panel to edit your file
descriptions or delete files.

That should be it! Your download manager is ready to be used.
